Your Ad Leak Check
Riverbend Plumbing
This is a sample. Riverbend Plumbing is made up, so you can see what a real check looks like before you ask for yours. Yours is about your own ads and page.
Checked by a person, Shakur, who builds and runs websites for local businesses. "We picked one at noon and the whole site was ready that afternoon." Sunhee Hong, PhD, GLS Gate

The leaks, worst first
1. The ad promises same-day service. The page doesn't say it.
Fix first- What we saw
- The ad says "Same-day drain repair." The page it opens starts with "Welcome to Riverbend Plumbing, serving the community since 2004."
- Why it matters
- Someone with a backed-up drain clicked for same day. If the first screen doesn't say it, they go back and tap the next ad.
- The fix
- Open the page with the ad's promise, word for word, and the phone number right under it.
2. The quote form asks for 9 things.
Fix first- What we saw
- Name, email, phone, address, city, zip, service type, preferred date and a message, all required, on a phone keyboard.
- Why it matters
- Every extra box is a reason to stop. Most of it can be asked on the call.
- The fix
- Ask for a name, a phone number and what's wrong. Three boxes.
3. The ad sends people to the home page.
Fix soon- What we saw
- Drain, water heater and emergency ads all open the same home page, with a menu of 12 services.
- Why it matters
- A person looking for a drain fix has to hunt for it. One page per ad keeps them on the thing they clicked for.
- The fix
- A short page for each kind of ad, each with its own promise and the same phone number.
4. Check what happens after a form at night.
Fix soon- What we saw
- After the form, the page says "Thank you" and nothing about when someone will call. An automatic reply can't be confirmed from the public page alone, so ask whoever answers your forms.
- Why it matters
- At 9pm, a person who hears nothing calls the next plumber too.
- The fix
- An automatic text that says who will call and when.
5. The call button on a phone.
Fine- What we saw
- A tap-to-call button sits at the top of the screen and works.
- Keep it
- Leave it where it is.
